I dreamed the other night that I was climbing huge concrete structures with just my bare hands, hanging on and swinging around way up in the air, and not the least bit afraid. Someone called up and asked, “How do you do it?!” And I yelled back down, “Attitude!”

Odd. What do you suppose the dream means? I have no idea, and it probably means nothing. But I’ve been reading in Habakkuk chapter 3 where the writer says “The sovereign LORD is my strength, he makes my feet like the feet of a deer and enables me to go up on the heights.”

Do you feel discouraged? Does your life seem to be on a low point? Are you looking up because you’re as far down as you can get? I think we can ask God to change our attitude, and who knows? We just might get a new altitude in the process. God will seldom take us out of our circumstances. He will, however, walk with us through them. And the time will come when we’ll get to walk on the heights, unafraid and sure of our footing. With attitude, I guess.

We have fearlessness in Jesus, and a life of a victorious overcomer because he lives inside us. He does live inside you, doesn’t he? He will if you surrender your life to him. Do it now before the enemy tries to talk you out of it. Just talk to Jesus and tell him you want to know him and to follow him. Then pick up a Bible and read the book of John. Talk to you soon.
